Permanent theatrical and visual project on the themes of the Resistance and the Holocaust, annual creation for the Celebrations of 25 April.

Dal 2015 Lenz Foundation has made permanent its historic dramaturgical research project around the themes of the Resistance and the Holocaust. The project carried out in collaboration with the Historical Institute of Resistance and the Contemporary Age is configured as a multi-year thematic research activity.

Starting from the early nineties, the works inspired by the tragedies that occurred during the Nazi-Fascist period have given performative form to anot serene art: Bruno Longhi (1991, 2005, 2015), Kinder (2016), Action T4 (2017), Rosa Winkel (2018), Black Bruno Longhi (2019), Viale San Michele. Before the cellars are painted (1990, 2021).

For the three-year period 2022_2024, Lenz's investigation will focus on the role and biography of Partisan women of the Parma Resistance with the consultancy of historians Fabrizia Dalcò and Maddalena Arrighini.

At hours 18 of the 25 A dialogue with the artistic ensemble is planned for April.

Day of wrath, edited by Gloria Dorliguzzo, protagonist of the fifth kinship of Female Animal Bestiary project / Nature Gods Theatres 2.0, performatively rereads the work of the Russian composer Galina Ustvolskaya (1919-2006), nicknamed Woman with Hammer, whose scores are supported by repetitive frameworks, Peter, interrogative and drastically essential.

The performance involves a group of women in a performative concert of hammers on anvil and wood – mysterious ritual of Dionysian creativity and intimate liberation from homogenizing powers.

The soldiers is part of Lenz's three-year Lenz project for the staging of the works of Jakob Michael Reinhold Lenz and Georg Büchner's revolutionary and anti-militarist novella inspired by his tragic madness. The performance is the outcome of the Pratiche di Teatro Sociale 2022_2023 laboratory, conducted by Alessandro Conti, created with adolescents belonging to the Health Center for Children and Adolescents of AUSL Parma.
