Tim Spooner
L’affermato artista inglese Tim Spooner, in residenza internazionale a Lenz Teatro per il triennio 2014-2016, acts in the fields of performance, del collage, of painting and sculpture. He uses materials and objects that reveal unexpected properties, in order to open perspectives beyond everyday perception, Human. Fundamentally interested in unpredictability, his work is a balancing act between control and lack of it, in the manipulation of the materials he works with.
Dal 2010 he is constantly dedicated to creating live works based on the revelation of life in matter. Closely linked to this project is the ongoing production of paintings and composite images.
Il 2016 è segnato dalla ricerca e dalla creazione di una serie di “capitoli”: performaces che alla fine saranno sovrapposte insieme per dar vita ad un nuovo grande lavoro, THE VOICE OF NATURE, che sarà presentato a Strasburgo nel gennaio del 2017.
Tra gli altri lavori più recenti si ricordano The assembly of animals, una scultura performante per bambini e adulti presentata in Europa e in Asia, The telescope (Whitsable Biennale, Manchester Science Museum, Terni <festival, Natura dèi Teatri#19, MIMA Mirepoix), Subliming Furiously (Chinehale Dance London, TJP Strasbourg), The most extreme form of knowledge (b-side Festival 2014) Unfished Interior (Natura dèi Teatri#20) e The shambles (b-side Festival 2016).
