Vittorio Gallese is the full professor of physiology at the DIP. of Neurosciences of the University of Parms and Adjunc Senior Seniors Shilaar to Dept.. of Art History and Archeology, Columbia University, New York, USA. He is coordinator of the PhD in Neuroscience and Director of the Doctoral School of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Parma. He received the George Miller Fellowship from the University of California at Berkeley in 2001, The GRAWEMEYER Award for Psychology for the year 2007, The Doctor Honoris Cause by the Catholic University of Lovanio, Belgium in 2010, l’Arnold Pfeffer Prize for Neuropsychoanalysis a New York nel 2010, The Musatti Prize of the Italian Society of Psychoanalysis in 2014 And the Kosmos Felloship from the Humboldt University of Berlin.
