On the deportation and extermination of homosexuals in the Nazi concentration camps.

Dal 2015 Lenz Foundation has made permanent its historic dramaturgical research project around the themes of the Resistance and the Holocaust. Created with the scientific advice of the historical institute of resistance and contemporary history, it is configured as a multi -year performative study activities.
In continuità con i programmi artistici avviati negli anni scorsi Lenz Fondazione intende realizzare un ampio progetto di creazioni performative contemporanee, seminars, and days of public reflection, dedicated to the themes of resistance and the European tragedy during the Nazi-fascist dictatorships.

Nel corso del regime nazista tedesco, numerose persone omosessuali furono internate in campi di concentramento insieme a Ebrei, Rom, bambini e adulti con disabilità, oppositrici del regime, persone comuniste. A distinguere le persone omosessuali dalle altre prigioniere era, nel caso degli uomini, un triangolo rosa cucito sulla divisa all’altezza del petto; nel caso delle donne, un triangolo nero. Si è soliti riferirsi allo sterminio degli omosessuali nei campi di concentramento nazisti come Omocausto. Si stima che le persone omosessuali internate nei lager siano stati almeno 50.000.

The re-edition of HAIKU was born from the convergence with the political-cultural assumptions of environmentalist associations and the Nature Restoration Law, progetto poetico-performativo di Lenz realizzato originariamente da Maria Federica Maestri e Francesco Pititto nel 2001 at the Lipu Oasis in Torrile and now revived from the perspective of an ethical theatrical ecosystem, which does not discard the productions of the past, but actively regenerates them, in a virtuous chain of creative flourishes.

Il progetto tende a re-immaginare la natura scomparsa e a restaurare la memoria dell’ambiente perduto, Through the power of short verses according to the Japanese formula of the haiku dedicated to the sacredness of existence in the animal re-vigorous, vegetable, MINERAL.
Poetry in action acts according to the principle of repair: the damage that man has caused in nature is not limited to the actual destruction of the environment, but it affects the very ability to know/feel ourselves in the whole, part of a plural cosmogony: beings in the multiple. So the regeneration will have to be twofold: repair the loss and rebuild what we have lost 'outside' and 'inside'.
