2020 ORESTEIA #3 PUPIL

By inserting its own visionary poetics in the classical tragedy, Lenz returns the Atreides saga to the immeasurable aesthetic of the protagonists’ psychopathology. The visual part is set in the mythical landscapes crossed by Orestes, places of detention and coercion; the creation takes on the iconology of excess and violence as the object of scenic investigation.

The installation will be processed on the body of the interpreters by attaching on them a tragic no-escape mechanism.
