Remarkable absence

And On violence Of Hannah Arendt
Performative composition | Beatrice Baruffini
Dramaturgical advice | Riccardo Reina

In certain circumstances violence – act without discussing or speaking and without thinking about the consequences – It is the only way to put the balance of justice back in place [Hannah Arendt]

There was a time when narratives and actions moved through rapid acts of violence. Fairy tales, fairy tales, Trees, revolutions, practices and traditions: People were willing to accept violence, as a form of earthly justice, Sometimes as an inheritance of an archaic thought, others as a reaction to a different imminent future perhaps still possible.

How the very definition of violence has changed, What should be recovered to identify it, To name it and distinguish it, what nature is and what the superstructures that have faded it, often giving them a confused social role, it can serve to recognize it or disconnect it.

Try to question the collective and political meaning of violence as an act and as feeling, as a aesthetic form and as a substance, In light of the relationship that they can have with power and with the acts that take shape to mark the history, leads us to ask us how the very concept of violence has changed.

Recall Hannah Arendt's theories to dig a furrow or trace conjunctures, Puting these reflections on the present is an attempt to re -signify some actions or practices that appear or disappear, they recur or move away from what we are.
