From Le Metamorfosi by Ovidio

Written and directed Alessandro Conti

Performer Monica Bianchi, Tiziana Cappella

Production Lenz Fondazione

Following the creation of Downfalls in 2025, which explored the lament οίμοι (oímoi), hypochondriac depression, and the violated virility of Ajax, from the 72-line Friedrich Hölderlin, Alessandro Conti's exploration of the forms of violence, part of the Lenz Fondazione ensemble since 2022, continues with an analysis of the mother who survived her children, the queen enslaved, and the bark of the stoned lioness_dog.

In Hecuba_Kisses to bones, identity and trans-specific transformations will be embodied in the dual body of interpretation composed of Monica Bianchi, a dancer and actress who has collaborated with Lenz since the early 2000s, and Tiziana Cappella, a performer and interpreter of Lenz Fondazione's most recent creations.

Through choreographic and dramatic writing, the performers will undergo numerous metamorphoses starting from the opulent condition of queen_representation of one of the major world powers up to the woman_persecuted, swollen and deprived of her existence.

The dual formless body, made up of two very different presences, will be the basis on which to choreograph evolutions and mutations of the body. The sound composition will be a slow metamorphosis that will trace an involution of musical richness: from baroque sounds to traces of lapidary frequencies. A musical parallel that will reinforce the various moments of the tragedy, achieved through samples of diverse subjects, triggered by states of stillness, revolutions and anger.
