Live concert by Robin Rimbaud, Scanner, with visual refractions by Francesco Pititto created in the spaces of the National Gallery and the Farnese Teatro della Pilotta in Parma.
For the inauguration of the renovated grand grand staircase leading to the Teatro Farnese in Parma – inspired by the El Bergamasco Escorial in Madrid and the Michelangelo staircase of the Laurentian Library in Florence – the English artist and composer will perform a live concert in the monumental complex of the Pilotta.
The live performance will have as a visual refraction a video/picture by Francesco Pititto created in the spaces of the National Gallery and the Farnese Theatre, with images of the collections and the innocent tube structure by Guido Canali, an installation created in the ‘60s for the renovation of the gallery and of the theater as “machine of cultural experimentation”.
Opening event of an intense artistic program for the 400 years of the Farnese Theatre (1617-2017) that developed for the whole of 2018.
