Carla Delphrates
Born in Parma, she graduated in oboe and orchestral conducting at the “A. Boito” of his city under the guidance of the masters Piero Guarino and Daniele Gatti.Nel 1987 he founded the chamber orchestra "Il Divertimento Musicale" with which he conducted numerous concerts also with solo instruments in various Italian cities. In the 1992 she was appointed permanent director of the European Women's Orchestra, performing in prestigious venues such as the Milan and Turin Conservatories and taking part in television concerts on the Rai and Mediaset networks. After working for several years as substitute conductor at the Teatro Regio in Parma, she made her debut in opera directing several titles : Orfeo ed Euridice by Gluck at the Teatro di Documenti in Rome directed by Luciano Damiani; Paisiello's The Barber of Seville at Wexford Festival Opera; Andrea Chénier by Giordano; Puccini's Tosca; The force of Destiny, Attila, A masquerade ball, Luisa Miller and Verdi's Rigoletto; Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana at the Teatro delle Muse in Ancona. From 1998 al 2000 she was musical assistant of the “Arturo Toscanini” Foundation in Parma, home of the orchestra of the same name, with whom he has conducted numerous symphonic and opera programs including two editions of the Busseto Voci Verdiane Competition. He is a tenured teacher of the Orchestral Practice Course at the Conservatory of Adria, where she arrived after also teaching in the Milan Conservatories, Bologna, Parma, Cagliari and Frosinone. He also directed in the following theatres: Carlo Felice of Genoa, Royal Theater of Parma, Cagliari Lyric Theatre, Goldoni of Florence, Auditorium “G. Agnelli” at the Lingotto in Turin, Verdi Hall of the Milan Conservatory, Paganini Auditorium in Parma, Theater of the Muses of Ancona, Municipal Theater of Piacenza. There are his recordings relating to: Concert entirely dedicated to female composers (B. Giuranna, M. Martinez, F. Mendelsshon) with the European Women's Orchestra; Concert at the Lingotto with the Piedmont Youth Symphony Orchestra (Caikovskij- Romeo and Juliet, Italian whim, Violin Concerto); Verdi's Attila (with Michele Pertusi), French opera arias with Sonia Ganassi.From 2001 al 2003 he held the role of Artistic Secretary at the Carlo Felice Theater in Genoa and, dal 2004 al 2012, at the Teatro delle Muse in Ancona. He currently holds the same role at the “Luigi Cherubini” Youth Orchestra Foundation directed by Riccardo Muti.
