Maguy Marin
Born in Toulouse, the dancer and choreographer Maguy Marin studied classical ballet at the Dance Academy of that city. She then joined the Strasbourg Dance Company and later Mudra, Maurice Béjart's multidisciplinary school in Brussels.
In the 1978, con Daniel Ambash, he founded the Ballet-Théâtre de l'Arche, which became Compagnie Maguy Marin in 1984. The National Choreographic Center de Créteil et du Val-de-Marne followed, In the 1985: his incessant artistic work has spread throughout the world.
In the 1987, the meeting with the musician-composer Denis Mariotte was the starting point of a decisive collaboration, which expanded the field of application of its experimentation.
In the 1998 another place to settle has arrived to create a new National Choreographic Center, Rillieux-la-Pape: a place understood as an us in time and space to strengthen its ability to promote those diagonal forces resistant to oblivion (H. Arendt).
The year 2011 has seen a remodulation of the structure through which the reflection and achievements of the Company are developed. After the intense years in Rillieux-la-Pape, the need for a new phase has emerged, to Toulouse. Thanks to this fixed point, the Company has been able to continue to expand the immaterial space of a relentlessly resilient whole.
David Mambouch
David Mambouch until 2010 he was part of the stable company of actors of the NPT of Villeurbanne, where he was involved in numerous shows directed by Christian Schiaretti. He also performed in Mère & Son of Joël Jouanneau, directed by Michel Raskine. As a director, his shows include the Harold Pinter Club Project and the Oracle de Saint-Foix.
He wrote and directed several plays at the Théâtre Les Ateliers (Lyon) tra cui Kaveh Kanes, Terrible and Dark Thoughts and Firm Hands. His text Premières Armes was directed by Olivier Borle at the TNP in Villeurbanne. He has also written screenplays and directed short films, including La Grande Cause, a series of films co-directed with Oliver Borle.
He worked in 2004, as an actor, new film Nina's House features actress Agnès Jaoui.
Dal 2012 he collaborates with the Maguy Marin Company as a film director and performer in the shows May B and Umwelt. In the 2013, started working with Maguy Marin and Benjamin Lebreton on a new project called Singspiele.
